Insights for impactful change

Kat founded the change lab in 2017 after 15 years working in larger research agencies where she specialised in behaviour change research for social impact. Kat worked closely on local and global projects for clients such as Transport for London, Girl Effect and Nokia.
She wanted to work in a more inclusive, flexible and collaborative way than larger companies allowed and so founded the change lab.
She now collaborates with other independent researchers and designers on social impact projects, often through Common Collective - a social enterprise that uses design and behavioural science for social impact.
Research to explore and understand people's contexts, experiences, needs and perspectives. We always amplify diverse perspectives and use inclusive research principles.
Collaborative and participatory approaches to develop ideas and strategy in partnership with the people who will benefit from and use a service. Often working in partnership with designers.
Using behavioural science expertise alongside research and co-design we help organisations and individuals understand and overcome barriers to change in a more human centred and empowering way.
Whether it's creating a theory of change or impact framework or running an impact evaluation study we can help you think through, understand and measure your impact.
Whether you've got a project in mind, a question about an approach or want to explore ways to collaborate I'm always happy to jump on a call for a chat.
