We specialise in user research and behaviour change for:
The change lab works with a wide range of partners. Including charities and research and design agencies. We also often collaborate with other independent businesses and freelancers on projects.

Hi, I am Kat. I am user researcher and behaviour change specialist. My work draws on design-led approaches to tackling inequalities. I help organisations and the people they serve to reach their goals.
I have used psychology and behaviour change to tackle real world problems for 15+ years.
I focus on sensitive and taboo topics. I often work with people facing systemic barriers to good health and wellbeing.
Care and equity should sit at the heart of design research. These principles deeply shape how I work with people in research projects.
I also occasionally rant about un-inclusive procurement processes and ideas for improving them.
If you have a project that needs my skills please drop me an email katherine [at] thechangelab.co.uk
